What Is Access Bars & How Can It Contribute To Your Life?

Welcome to the most relaxing, de-stressing, well-being technique you may have never heard of... Access Bars®

Have you ever found yourself reacting to the smallest of things? Or maybe you can’t seem to shut off your mind no matter what you try? Feeling stressed, tired, anxious, or worried?


What if there was a way to reduce the noise in your head without having to sit in a cave or meditate for hours? What if you could press a button and mute that voice in your head that tells you that you’re not good enough or that you can’t accomplish what you dream about? There is!


Access Bars are 32 points on your head that, when gently touched, effortlessly and easily release the thoughts, ideas, beliefs, emotions, and considerations that stop you from creating a life you love.


The Access Bars® can feel like hitting the delete button on your computer’s cluttered hard drive – only this time, you’re creating space in your brain. Things like negative thought patterns, or that endless mental chatter keeping you awake at night, can be released and make space for the calm you’ve been seeking.


The best part is that Access Bars is backed by published scientific research. In 2015 leading neuroscientist Dr. Jeffrey Fannin examined the neurological effects of the Access Bars. He discovered that Access Bars have a positive neurological effect on the recipient greater than those experienced by advanced meditators and it produced these results immediately. Dr. Terrie Hope, PhD. DNM conducted scientific research on the effects of Access Bars® on anxiety and depression, published in the Journal of Energy Psychology in 2017. In summary The Bars were found to reduce stress and anxiety by 85% and depression by 82% in as little as one session. All participants showed an increase in Brain Coherence.

Dr. Hope also found that participants who, before the 90-minute Access Bars session, reported a sense of past failure, self-criticalness, loss of pleasure, and agitation, all reported 100% of these symptoms were resolved after the session.

In addition to Access Bars Research, Access Bars surveys were collected from 480 individuals who self-reported stress, anxiety or depression. The individuals completed a self-evaluation survey before and after one Access Bars Session that ranged from 50 to 90 minutes. The results reported were as follows:

● 338 participants reported stress - 97.6% indicated a decrease in stress

● 278 participants reported anxiety - 86.6% indicated a decrease in anxiety

● 204 participants reported pain - 78.43% indicated a decrease in pain

● 392 participants reported being less than extremely happy - 61.9% indicated an increase in happiness

How do the Bars work?

When The Bars are lightly touched, the brain waves actually slow down, allowing behavioral patterns, belief systems, and points of view that you have been running from childhood or from other lifetimes to be accessed. The brain wave’s change from beta waves, which are attentive mode, to alpha/theta waves, which are relaxed/fall asleep mode. Brain wave measurement shows increased brain coherence after receiving Access Bars. Access Bars optimize brain performance, increase concentration ability and improve emotional stability.

What happens in an Access Bars session?

An Access Bars Session, or having your Bars run, as it is often called, begins to release the thoughts, feelings, emotions, beliefs and limiting programs that no longer serve you. During a session the 32 Bars points are lightly touched. This process begins to release the electromagnetic charge or polarity of the thoughts, feelings, emotions, ideas, beliefs, considerations and decisions as it is stored in your brain.


Typically, you lie on a massage table or sit in a zero gravity chair. There is no need to remove any clothing. Only the head, hands and feet (optional) are touched. It's nice to have a blanket on hand, as sometimes your body temperature may change. Sessions typically last 45 to 90 minutes. Introductory or taster sessions are typically 20 minutes. The Bars can be run anywhere; a noisy environment will not prevent the Bars from running.


It is a holistic complementary therapy that activates the body’s innate ability to self-heal. Access Bars complement any conventional or alternative treatment or therapy and have been found to increase the capacity and potency of other healing modalities.


Having your Bars run tends to be a relaxing and nurturing process. At worst you'll feel like you've had a great massage. Best case scenario, your whole life will change into something greater with total ease! What is most often reported is that there is a sense of deep relaxation. Many people go to sleep – even in a very noisy environment. Some people have images come to them, others see colors, or feel sensations in their bodies such as buzzing, tingling, warmth, twitches or shivers.


By getting your Bars run you actually start to become more present in your life and the past doesn’t project into your future the same way. By getting your Bars run you are literally changing the probabilities of future possibilities. Most people like to have their Bars run at least once a week, or whenever they feel stressed, cranky, or out of sorts with how their lives are going. Bars are for everyone at any age!


Everyone is different so there is no “normal” Access Bars Session. Each session will be different, every time, even if you repeat with the same person. The best way to find out what Access Bars will be like for you is to try it for yourself!


What is the difference between Access Bars and Reiki?

Having your Bars run removes blocked energy out of the body while Reiki delivers energy into the body. While both modalities have the ability to induce a state of relaxation and clear negative energy, they use different techniques.
